Dear Mr. Tanaka,
My name is Maria Ricardo. I am writing to you following advice from Mr.
Suzuki of ABC that you are currently looking for a native English speaker
to assist with writing/editing tasks.
I have a Bachelor of Arts (English), a Graduate Diploma in Education. I
have been employed in Japan by ABC for the past two years. My initial position
was as an English teacher for children at a branch school in Nagoya. I
then transferred to the head office in Osaka to work in their Curriculum
Developing Department as a Curriculum Developer. I have recently completed
my contract with ABC.
I have experience in editing, rewriting and writing original text for
dialogues and grammar explanations.
I would be interested to know more about the kinds of work you are involved
in and whether I could be of some assistance, especially via e-mail from
Canada.
