Following と as follows の使い方

名詞として
following 「以下（の文）」
例：I'd like to know the following.
例：Please read the following.
例：The following are our requirements for the product.
※ 後ろが単数形の場合は、The following is ... となります。The followings are ... と複数形にはしません。

箇条書きの例：
I'd like to know the following:
How much is it?
Where can I buy one in Japan?
Can I pay with a credit card?

形容詞として
例：the following month

as follows「次の通りです」
例：The reasons are as follows.
例：The results are as follows: First was Tom, then Ben, then Pat.
リストする時や箇条書きなどに使うことができます。
